LA-WEDNESDAY 6/29

Our hotel this year was swanky~

So the first day of LA was tiring BUT FUN!! We came in at around 8am when nothing was open so it was kind of hard to find things to do at first lol. We opted for the Flyaway bus and then walking to our hotel since it was only like 15 min away. Too bad that was 15 min of SUN and HEAVY LUGGAGE orz We made it but at what cost LMAO;; Anyways we tried to check in but they were like blah blah blah extra costs and we were like NAHHHH

So we head off to find breakfast/brunch and YUM CURRY BUNS at Yamazaki Bakery! Also tried sweet potato pan but it was just alright. Wanted to go to Kinokuniya but WHATTHEHECK KAKKI HAS A FREAKING LINE AT 11AM WHEN JUNGLE OPENS AT 12?! Naturally I waited in line lol. They told us that autographs were first come first serve and no priority for panel goers so at this point it was like panel vs autographs. If I didn't make him anything I would've opted for the panel but /cries

After grabbing those tickets we could check in! This year we stayed at the DoubleTree hotel and we got free cookies!!! They were yum. The rooms were hella tiny tho;; Definitely max of 6 people next time to stay there…

At this point we were super hungry so we're like GOTTA FIND FOOD OMG!! Since we've never been in the past, we wanted to try going to Koreatown!! There's apparently a restaurant owned by Hyoyeon’s mom so we're like kk let's go there. It was a pretty hole in the wall place but DAMN IT WAS GOOD!! Everyone except for Sakiho and I wanted to try the soba, but the soba was really yummy so I was like hm maybe I should've gotten it now LOLOL;; I ended up getting udon because I LOVE UDON!! And also DUMPLINGS! DELICIOUS DUMPLINGS WOW!!

Daiso Daiso Daiso~

After eating and being really full we decided to look around Koreatown some more and DAISO!! We got some essentials from there and also found Dragon's Breath?! I thought it was a lot further away omg-- We shared one cup between the six of us and it didn't have much taste, but it was fun to do!! One cup was even too much for the six of us LOL how do people do it on their own?? We also checked out the malls and surrounding areas. It was really nostalgic because mall and fun shops on top and then underground grocery store ahh-- so Asian LOL;;

The cup was cute too bad the tea not :(

At this time it was time to pick up Kenya from Union Station so we nyoomed to go back to the train, but not before stopping for boba first! We tried a place called Mr. Boba and to be honest it was.. really disappointing Q__Q Misha and I went on like a 3 week boba ban so we could get good boba in LA AND IT WAS NOT GOOD BOBA!! I'd rather have Kung Fu Tea wtf orz;; BUT YEAH back to Union Station and Kenya GOT!! Unfortunately her plane was delayed by like 2 hours or so (she was supposed to come at 4?? but didn't come until 7 ;;)

So YEAH at this time we were like crap we gotta get ready for the Zero Escape game at 8!! SO THERE WE WENT!! I can't post spoilers but the Zero Escape Game is 100% worth your money. I WANT TO PLAY MORE OMG!! We were really close to winning, but at the last puzzle we had 1 minute left and we started panicking so we mistook the clues orz;; ALL IN ALL, it was still really fun!! The puzzles were so clever and well written!! Afterwards we just discussed how we could've done the game better and then nyoomed back to the hotel because long day of BEACH the next day YE!!!

Ahaa we lost but it was still fun Q__Q
